GreenPalm gains momentum

Since the first GreenPalm certificates were traded just less than three weeks ago, we’ve been making excellent progress in a number of ways.
Raising profile: firstly we’ve been working hard to raise the profile of the GreenPalm programme through the media. This is will take time to build, but early successes include detailed coverage in the Ends Report and on the businessGreen website.
Renewable Fuels Agency (RFA) accreditation: secondly, a quick reminder that GreenPalm has been approved by the RFA, the UK’s independent sustainable fuels regulator, for reporting purposes under the Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation – the RTFO.
The RTFO is a UK government initiative designed to combat climate change. It requires the suppliers of fossil fuels to ensure that a specified percentage of the road fuels they supply in the UK is made up of renewable fuels. This is a significant step forward for GreenPalm and we look forward to welcoming our first biofuels partners on-board in the coming months.
