Sustainable Food Summit, Amsterdam 23rd-24th June

With sustainability rising on the corporate agenda, food and ingredient companies are looking at various ways to reduce their environmental and social footprints. The fourth edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit hones in on two major aspects of sustainability in the food industry: carbon footprint reduction and the use of sustainable ingredients. Case studies will be given of organisations at the cutting edge of implementing such sustainability initiatives.
The European edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit will take place in Amsterdam at the Movenpick Hotel on 23-24th June 2011. It will bring together leading organisations involved in the organic and sustainable foods industry that include Alpro, Nestle, GreenPalm, Gepa Foods, Unilever, Dutch government, Migros, Sekem Group, UNCTAD, Albert Heijn, Do-It, EPEA, Water Footprint Network, IBD, Worldwatch Institute, etc.
