Brokerage fee reduced with new milestone reached

Following on from our brokerage reduction back in August 2011 to $1.50. GreenPalm announced to its members that all certificate trades which take place from January 1st 2012 onwards will carry a reduced brokerage fee of $1 per certificate.

When the RSPO standards were agree in 2007 it was decided that they would be reviewed within 5 years. The Executive Board of the RSPO believes that the Principles & Criteria remain relevant and needed but they can be made more effective. Girl Scouts Pledge to Promote the Need for Sustainable Palm Oil Practices

Beginning with the 2012-13 cookie selling season, each box of Girl Scout cookies will include a GreenPalm logo as a symbol of Girl Scouts' commitment to address concerns about palm oil production. The Girl Scouts also will purchase GreenPalm certificates, which offer a premium price to palm oil producers who are operating within the environmental and social guidelines set by the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil.
RSPO Supports Dutch Industry's Call On The EU To Abolish Import Duty On Sustainable Palm Oil

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) supports the Dutch Product Board for Margarine, Fats and Oils (MVO) in its call on behalf of Dutch Oil and Fats sector, for the European Union (EU) to abolish the import duty on RSPO’s Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO).
